JAVAHAR NAVODAY EXAM 2019 Last Date Is Extended To 15 Dec

JAVAHAR NAVODAY EXAM  2019 last date is extended to 15 Dec Establishment of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas As per the policy of the Government, one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is to be established in each district. Accordingly, 62 new JNVs have been sanctioned during 2016-17 in various districts of the country. In addition to this,10 JNVs each have been sanctioned in districts having a large concentration of SC & ST population. Besides this, 2 special JNVs in Manipur have been established bringing the total number of JNVs sanctioned to 660. Each Vidyalaya has provision for a full-fledged campus with sufficient building for classrooms, dormitories, staff-quarters, dining-hall and other infrastructural facilities viz. play-grounds, workshops, library and labs etc. The opening of new Navodaya Vidyalayas is based on the offer from the State Government to provide around 30 acres of suitable land (relaxable on case to case basis) free of cost, alongwith sufficient temporary accommodation to run the school till the completion of permanent Vidyalaya building.

Save as otherwise provided by or under these rules, they shall apply topersons appointed to civil services and posts in connection with the affairs of the State of Gujarat.

(2) These rules shall not apply to -

(a) persons not in whole-time employment;

(b) persons paid out of contingencies;

(c) persons paid otherwise than on a monthly basis, including those paid only on a piece-rate basis;

(d) persons appointed on work charged establishment or on daily rate basis or persons employed casually except where in case of such persons, the Government by order published in the Official

Gazette, provides otherwise;

(e) persons employed on contract except where the contract provides otherwise;

(f) persons re-employed in Government service who are in receipt of superannuation or retiring     pension irrespective of whether such pensi

on is paid from the Consolidated Fund of the State or not;

(g) persons employed on consolidated pay system or fixed pay system;

(h) any other class or category of persons whom the Government may, by order, specifically exclude from the operation of all or any of the provisions of these rules. Definition:- In these rules, unless the  context otherwise requires –

(1) “existing basic pay” means pay drawn in the prescribed existing scale of pay, including stagnation increment(s), but does not include any other type of pay such as special pay, etc.;

(2) “existing scale” in relation to a Government employee means the present scale applicable to the post held by the Government employee or in case of a Government employee drawing scale according to the Higher Pay Scale Scheme (or, as the case may be, personal scale applicable to him) as on the 1st day of January, 2006 whether in a substantive or officiating capacity;

Note:- The Higher Pay Scale Scheme is subject to review on the lines of Government of India’s order as and when issued.

Explanation. - In the case of a Government employee, who was on the 1st day of January, 2006 on deputation out of India or on leave or on foreign service, or who would have on that date officiated in one or more lower posts but for his officiating in a higher post, “existing scale” includes the scale

applicable to the post which he would have held but for his being on deputation out of India or on leave or on foreign service or, as the case may be, but for his officiating in a higher post.

Depending on their future pupil composition as multi-denominational schools, Community and ETB schools may have to make provision for religious instruction for those from other minority religions should it be required.  Past practice of assuming that the pupil body is predominately Catholic and arranging religious instruction accordingly is no longer an appropriate approach. In a changing context the constitutional right not to attend religious instruction must be given effect through changed practices. India was economically prosperous till the 18th century. The anarchy that followed the death of Aurangzeb too could not weaken it. About INSPIRE Awards-MANAK.
The Department of Science & Technology (DST) is implementing a national program Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) for attracting talented young students to study Science and pursue career in Research. This Program is being implemented since 2009-10.
INSPIRE aims to identify, sustain and strengthen human capacity for Research and Development base of the country. Inspired research achieved by means of an innovative scientific pursuit is the objective of this flagship scheme of the DST. INSPIRE Program covers students in the age group 10-32 years. It has five components spread over in three major schemes. These are:
i. Scheme for Early Attraction of Talents for Science (SEATS) – INSPIRE Award and INSPIRE Internship,

ii. Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) – INSPIRE Scholarship, and
iii. Assured Opportunity for Research Careers (AORC) – INSPIRE Fellowship and INSPIRE Faculty Awards.The first component i.e. INSPIRE Award MANAK ( Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge) scheme, previously known as INSPIRE Award Scheme, is being implemented through State and UT governments with objectives (i) to attract young students to study science and pursue research career (ii) to promote creative thinking and foster a culture of innovation among them.

Under INSPIRE Award MANAK scheme, in a financial year, ten (10.0) lakh ideas are being targeted from more than five (05) lakh middle and high schools across the country, out of which one (1.0) lakh ideas are to be shortlisted for an initial award of Rs. 10000/- each, for preparation of project/model/showcasing of idea and participation in the District Level Exhibition & Project Competition (DLEPC). The students who are eligible to participate under this scheme should be in the age group of 10-15 years studying in class VI to X. The award money under this scheme is being transferred directly into the bank accounts of the students through Direct Benefit Transfer. The selected students in DLEPCs participate at State Level Exhibitions and winners of State Level Exhibitions further participate in the National Level Exhibition organized every year. The participants of the National Level Exhibition are also provided mentorship for prototype development in association with reputed science and technological institutions of the country. All middle and high schools of the country whether Government, private, semi-private, aided, un-aided are eligible to nominate 2-3 students from their schools, during a financial year, along with all the details including a brief write-up of the idea of the student. The short listing of students for INSPIRE award MANAK and mentoring will be provided by National Innovation Foundation (NIF), Ahemdabad, a autonomous organization of DST, based on the idea submitted by the student.

(1) These rules may be called the Police Constable, Class Ill (Combined CompetitiveExamination) Rules, 2016.
(2) They shall apply to the post of Police Constable, Class Ill level Cadre posts, as specified in Appendix I.
2. Definitions.- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a)"Appendix" means an Appendix appended to these rules;
(b) "Board" means the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board,Gandhinagar or such Board as may be constituted by the State Government in this behalf;
(c) "Examination" means the Combined Competitive Examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Police Constable, Class Ill in the State Police Force and the State Reserve Police Force and Sepoy (Male) and Sepoy(Female)/Matron in the jail Department specified in rule 4;
(d) "Government" means the Government ofGujarat;
(e)"relevant recruitment rules"" means the recruitment rules prescribed by the
Government for the posts specified in Appendix-!.
3. Educational Qualifications and Age limit.-
(1) A candidate possessing the requisite educational qualifications, other
qualifications and requirements, for the appointment to the post as specified in
Appendix-!, prescribed under the relevant recruitment rules shall be eligible for
admission to the examination

Community Post Primary Schools where in addition to an Education andTraining Board (ETB) the patronage is exercised by one or more catholic religious orders and/or a catholic diocese. ii. All Education and Training Board (ETB) post primary schools ( other than those where there is an agreement between the Education and Training Board and Educate Together whereby the school operates as a non-denominational school that is not required to provide for religious instruction). The existing Multi-denominational Basis for Religious Instruction or Worship In establishing Community and VEC schools (now ETB schools) the State set a multidenominational basis for religious worship and instruction that expresses requirements that are common in the relevant governance documents of Community Schools and the ETB schools concerned as follows.

Historically some ETB schools in addition to meeting Catholic needs also made provision for religious instruction that met the needs of pupils from local Protestant communities. Depending on their future pupil composition as multi-denominational schools, Community and ETB schools may have to make provision for religious instruction for those from other minority religions should it be required.Past practice of assuming that the pupil body is predominately Catholic and arranging religious instruction accordingly is no longer an appropriate approach. In a changing context the constitutional right not to attend religious instruction must be given effect through changed practices.
