Chetichand Ni Raja 7/4 na Badle 6/4/19 Na Roj Jaher Jila sixan Adhikari Ahemdabad:-Traditions of Cheti Chand
The Cheti Chand festival marks the arrival of Spring and harvest and the start of Hindu New Year for Sindhi Hindus. It is seen as an auspicious day for business as it also marks the start of the new financial year.

However, it also marks the birthday of Uderolal in the year 1007, after the Sindhis prayed to Varuna, the god of the Sindhu river, to save them from the persecution by a despotic ruler named Mirkhshah. Uderolal took the form of a warrior and old man, called Jhulelal, who convinced Mirkhshah that Muslims and Hindus deserve the same religious freedoms.

Jhulelal became the key deity of the Sindhi people, and is as a bearded figure holding a book and a mala (string of beads) sitting on a fish. He is also revered by Sufi Muslims, who associate him with Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, a Sufi saint.

The festival of Cheti Chand is celebrated with fairs, feasts and processions of icons of Jhulelal and other Hindu deities. It is also celebrated by the Sindhi dispora around the world.

VARSHIK PARIXA SAMAY BADALAVA BABAT - GUJARAT PRATHAMIK SHIXAK SANGH

VARSHIK PARIXA SAMAY BADALAVA BABAT - GUJARAT PRATHAMIK SHIXAK SANGHTeachers working with Key Stage pupils might, for instance, focus on the subject content of science and develop science skills from these areas of experience. This product centred approach could, for example, give rise to oral explanations and demonstrations of scientific knowledge, and, from time to time, practical activities designed to provide direct experience of phenomena with opportunities to explore and investigate these phenomena. In providing a conceptual structure to help the learner build a functional mental representation, the teacher highlights what is relevant and the nature of the relationships between the elements. For example, the teacher might explain the compressibility of air in a bicycle pump by describing it as dispersed particles which may be brought closer or else by comparing it with the behaviour of a spring.

In contrast, teachers might focus on the processes of science and develop scientific conceptual understanding from it. This process-centred approach could, for instance, offer the children experiments and investigations as starting points for acquiring conceptual knowledge with little or no direct teaching of concepts. In this case a conceptual structure is withheld. The onus is on the children to recall or construct a functional mental representation without reference to a teachers' description of one. Pupils might infer relationships in the topic under study and may be given an opportunity to test and revise their ideas.

Of course, other teachers might focus on a combination of these two approaches and develop scientific skills and conceptual understanding from in this combination. This mixed approach could be a balance or, perhaps, a compromise, between a product-centred and a process-centred approach, in which the teacher provides a partial conceptual structure and leaves the remainder for children to construct by inferring, hypothesising, or testing their ideas. It could encourage lessons where children do investigations with some features already identified by the teacher, and with some conceptual knowledge about the subject that enables them to appreciate the purpose of the activity. In contrast, it could encourage lessons without a clear purpose which mixed different types of activity, but did not develop either conceptual or procedure understanding exclusively.
Science Activities and Experiments
Science activities help little learners of all ages understand important concepts, and these science activities for kids give them the opportunity to discover something completely new. What's more, science activities are fun! Some, like Oobleck, are messy. Others are impressive, like the classic erupting volcano project. Whatever activity you end up trying, your child will be developing new skills as he forms predictions and makes observations. No matter where your child's interests may lie, we have a science experiment that will teach him something cool and make him smile.

STD 1 MA PRAVESHPATRA BALAKO ANE VIDYALAXMI BOND NI MAHITI MOKALAVA BABAT

STD 1 MA PRAVESHPATRA BALAKO ANE VIDYALAXMI BOND NI MAHITI MOKALAVA BABAT 1973, English ornithologist Daniel T. Holyoak described some small parrot bones that he had discovered among a collection of broad-billed parrot (Lophopsittacus mauritianus) subfossils in the Zoology Museum of Cambridge University. These remains had been collected by French amateur naturalist Louis Etienne Thirioux in the early 20th century, who had found them in a cave on Le Pouce mountain, on the Mascarene Island of Mauritius. They were placed in the zoology museum by 1908. Apart from their size and robustness, Holyoak did not find the bones to be distinct from those of the Mascarene parrot genera Lophopsittacus, Mascarinus (the Mascarene parrot), Necropsittacus (the Rodrigues parrot), and Psittacula (which had two or three other species inhabiting the Mascarene Islands). Because of their similarities, Holyoak considered all these genera to be closely related
Holyoak provisionally placed the new species in the same genus as the broad-billed parrot, naming it Lophopsittacus bensoni; the name honours English ornithologist Constantine W. Benson, for his work on birds from the Indian Ocean, and in classifying bird collections at Cambridge. Holyoak also mentioned the possibility that the remains could represent a small subspecies of Necropsittacus or a wide-beaked form of Mascarinus, but maintained that they were best considered as belonging to a distinct species. The holotype specimen is a mandibular symphysis, with the specimen number UMZC 577a. Other known remains include upper mandibles, a palatine bone, and tarsometatarsi. The species has since been excavated from the Mare aux Songes swamp on Mauritius, from which subfossils of most of the other endemic bird species have been identified as well
Old, vague accounts of several different now-extinct Mascarene parrots have created much confusion for the scientists who subsequently examined them. In 1967, American ornithologist James Greenway speculated that 17th- and 18th-century reports of then-unidentified grey parrots on Mauritius referred to the broad-billed parrot. In 1987, English ecologist Anthony S. Cheke correlated the L. bensoni subfossils with the grey parrots reported from Mauritius and RĂ©union, which had previously been ignored, or considered references to broad-billed parrots.Further study of contemporary accounts indicates that the broad-billed parrot was not grey, but had multiple colours
